She remarked, “So what we are modeling here is what inclusion and what dialogue looks like. We need this in Baghdad and we need this in Erbil.”

Lebanon ceasefire: Civil society ramps up reconstruction

As displaced families return to their war-torn homes following the ceasefire in the Israel-Hezbollah 60-day war, civil society has a pivotal role in Lebanon's recovery. In an interview with Deutsche Welle, Lynn Zovighian emphasizes that funding must go to local communities and their grassroots organizations to meet the urgent needs of affected populations. She explains that the lack of national leadership could once again create risks for communities that are counting on humanitarian aid with limited long-term support.
